		<description>It was like that at both Four Seasons Punta Mita in Mexico and Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic, which I've visited in the past year. They kept trying to tell us that they were at 85% capacity, but you could have fired a cannon through either resort without hitting anyone. It's depressing when a beautiful resort is so empty—depressing to be there and depressing from a tourism standpoint. I hope these places are somehow maintained until the economy turns around. On the other hand, if you're looking for a very quiet, high-end getaway...</description>

As you know I just returned from Dubai. The saying "what if you threw a party and no one came" kept running through my mind. Dozens of residential high rises built, but were completely empty...no lights on at all. You had to wonder where they were going to get all the people to live in them. I guess Kevin Costner;'s character in Field of Dreams, Ray Kinsella, was wrong. "If you build it, they may not come".
